The Awakening Book Cover

Some books have been redesigned in a way that is modernized with the everchanging nature of the graphic design style. The Awakening, published in 1899 was the target for such redesigning, with an updated typeface within as well as a refreshened cover to give the book a new look. The symbolic nature of the bird and the freedom and lightness that it represents best captures the theme of the novel.
